Job Title: Fund Manager – Small Cap / Mid Cap (Indian Equities) Location: Mumbai Experience: Minimum 4 years as a Fund Manager Industry: Mutual Fund/AMC About the Role We are hiring for a Fund Manager to lead and manage Small Cap and Mid Cap equity strategies for a leading Asset Management Company. The role requires strong expertise in Indian equities, portfolio construction, risk management, and delivering consistent alpha across market cycles.Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee Small Cap and Mid Cap equity portfolios. Develop investment strategies aligned with fund mandates and risk parameters. Conduct in-depth fundamental research and company analysis across sectors. Lead idea generation, stock selection, and portfolio construction. Actively monitor portfolio performance and rebalance based on market conditions. Engage with company management teams, sell-side analysts, and industry experts. Present investment strategy and performance updates to internal stakeholders and investors. Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk guidelines.Candidate Profile Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Fund Manager managing Indian equity portfolios. Strong track record in Small Cap / Mid Cap investing. Deep understanding of Indian markets, sector dynamics, and valuation frameworks. Proven ability to generate alpha with disciplined risk management. Strong analytical, financial modeling, and decision-making skills. MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
