Job Description An Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and validating technologies that improve vehicle safety and automation, such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Automated Emergency Braking (AEB), and Lane Keeping Assist. They translate user needs into technical specifications and bridge the gap between sensor hardware, software algorithms, and vehicle integration. Job Responsibility: System Design & Architecture: Developing ADAS features, defining system-level requirements, and decomposing them into sub-system requirements (sensor, compute, HMI). Integration & Testing: Integrating ADAS components onto vehicle platforms and performing validation in simulation (SIL/HIL), test tracks, and public roads. Data Analysis & Debugging: Analyzing sensor data (camera, radar, lidar, ultrasonic) to diagnose system issues, such as false positives or missed detections. Algorithm Development: Developing and optimizing sensor fusion and control algorithms (e.g., MPC/PID). Compliance & Safety: Ensuring compliance with automotive safety standards like ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21448 (SOTIF). Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Definition: Definition of key performance indicators (KPIs) on System/Feature/Sensor/Functional-Level for measuring the performance of the ADAS/AD systems and enable optimization of the market-specific competitive situation. Other Skills and Attributes Proficiency in C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, and CAN/Automotive Ethernet communication. Experience with Sensor fusion, or vehicle control systems Good communication and analytical skills Proficiency in problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues Compensation: Commensurate in line with the industry and experience. Full time Education Required: B.E/B.TECH/M.E/M.TECH in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Automotive/Mechatronics/Instrumentation/Control Engineering from a recognized university/Institution. Experience Required: 5-8 Yrs in Automotive Industry.
