Recognized for our entrepreneurial approach for over 60 years, our team of approximately 24,000 employees takes an ownership mindset, collaborating with customers to redefine what's possible.Designation:Software QA Engineering Manager Experience:10-12 Years Education:B.E Location:BangaloreRoles & Responsibilities:• Lead and mentor a global QA team, establishing Quality Assurance as a strong engineering discipline with clear ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Define and execute test and automation strategies to ensure product quality across cloud-based systems. • Drive API, integration, system-level, end-to-end, and data integrity testing. • Lead test automation initiatives using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Postman, and REST Assured. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, prioritize efforts, and ensure project success. • Establish quality gates in CI/CD pipelines and ensure release documentation completeness. • Track and communicate testing progress, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders. • Ensure availability and reliability of software and hardware test environments. • Support defect triage, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.Qualification Requirements: Bachelor’s in computer science; Master’s is a plus Minimum 4-5 years of software test experience Minimum 2-3 year in software QA leadership roleMust Have skills: Experience in leading, mentoring and developing a global team of QA engineers, fostering accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. Experience in delivering results with clear communication, setting expectations, and aligning teams around business priorities. Possess customer centric mindset and consistently prioritize solving customer issues. Possess strong Quality assurance methodologies for Cloud applications and Embedded software products. Hands-on experience with test automation tools, performance testing tools and CI/CD integration. Experience with Agile software development and Scrum/SAFe methodology. Data-driven decision-making using quality metrics and analytics. Able to work independently and keep stakeholders informed of progress toward goals. Possess strong business acumen.Preferred Competencies: Experience in software test within the Fueling and retail domain. Hardware/Electronic related knowledge. General IT knowledge. Network administration basics.
