The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of total experience, including a minimum of 4 years in team management, leading a team of at least 7 members. This role demands strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of customer and credit behavior, and a results-oriented approach to both sales growth and collections efficiency. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales Management Develop and execute effective sales strategies aligned with the respective vertical (Solar, Agriculture, Industrial, Two Wheeler, Medical Equipment, LAP) to meet business targets and drive growth. Identify new market opportunities and customer acquisition channels across assigned territories. Drive achievement of sales KPIs including disbursement targets, conversion ratios, and portfolio growth. Ensure strong coordination with credit, operations, and risk teams for seamless loan processing. Build and maintain strong working relationships with dealers, distributors, OEMs, channel partners, aggregators, and other stakeholders relevant to each vertical. 2. Collections Management Oversee and manage the end-to-end collections process to ensure timely recovery of dues. Monitor portfolio health and implement proactive, data-driven collection strategies. Minimize delinquency rates and control PAR/NPA levels within defined thresholds. Handle escalated collection cases and assist in negotiations, settlements, restructuring, and legal actions where required. Ensure strict adherence to internal risk, compliance, and regulatory standards during all collection activities. 3. Team Leadership Lead, coach, and manage a team of 7 or more professionals across sales and collections functions. Set clear performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews. Provide continuous mentoring and capability-building support to team members. Conduct regular market visits and field monitoring to assess productivity and local business dynamics. Foster a high-performance, ethical, and collaborative work culture. 4. Reporting & Analytics Analyze sales, disbursement, and collection data to generate actionable business insights. Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and portfolio reviews for senior management. Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments across verticals. Leverage analytics to optimize operational efficiency and enhance customer engagement strategies. Qualifications & Skills Experience 4+ years of total experience in sales and collections within Banking / NBFC / Financial Services. Experience in any of the following lending verticals: Solar Finance, Agriculture Loans, Industrial Equipment Finance, Two Wheeler Loans, Medical Equipment Finance, or LAP. Minimum 4+ years of team management experience handling a team of 7 or more members. Hands-on experience in Secured and Unsecured Lending. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or related field. MBA (Finance/Marketing) preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of market dynamics and credit behavior across retail/MSME segments. Proven leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical ability with proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools. Ability to work in a target-driven, high-pressure environment. Sound understanding of risk, compliance, and portfolio management principles.
