You will own the development of fast, SEO-friendly, and highly optimized web applications using Next.js and React. With a keen eye for performance, user experience, and modern web standards, you will help drive engineering excellence across our consumer-facing platforms, especially in fintech domains such as Credit Cards and Lending.Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a Senior Web Developer with 3+ years of experience who is passionate about crafting fast, scalable, and SEO-optimized web experiences. You should have deep experience in Next.js and React, a strong understanding of modern web performance techniques, and stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and best practices.Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using Next.js and React. • Build SEO-first, content-rich platforms, including blogs, landing pages, and acquisition journeys. • Optimize web performance using techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, image optimization, caching strategies, and Core Web Vitals improvements. • Ensure excellent page load times, responsiveness, and accessibility across devices and browsers. • Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and incremental static regeneration (ISR) effectively. • Work closely with product and design teams to translate business requirements into pixel-perfect, high-quality UI experiences. • Develop and maintain reusable component libraries and frontend architecture standards. • Implement micro-frontend architecture for independent module deployments. • Integrate APIs (REST, GraphQL), real-time data updates, and headless CMS solutions (Sanity, Contentful). • Monitor, analyze, and continuously improve site performance, SEO metrics, and user engagement. • Stay current with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and performance optimization techniques. • Contribute to technical discussions, architectural decisions, and continuous improvement of the frontend ecosystem.Expectations from Senior Web Developer • Performance Champion: Proactively identifies and resolves performance bottlenecks across the web platform. • Hands-on Ownership: Takes end-to-end ownership of critical web modules and features. • Quality Advocate: Ensures clean, maintainable, and scalable code through reviews and best practices. • Continuous Learner: Keeps the team updated on new frontend technologies, frameworks, and SEO practices. • Business-Oriented Mindset: Understands how web performance and UX directly impact conversion and revenue.Basic Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in frontend web development, with deep expertise in Next.js and React. • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. • Proven experience building highly optimized, SEO-friendly web applications. • Hands-on experience with SSR, SSG, ISR, and modern rendering strategies. • Strong understanding of web performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, WebPageTest). • Experience with modern styling frameworks (Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, SCSS). • Solid understanding of browser internals, caching, and network performance. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and modern testing practices. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications • Experience in fintech domains, especially Credit Cards and Lending platforms. • Experience building large-scale consumer acquisition and content platforms. • Familiarity with headless CMS integrations for blog and content-driven platforms. • Experience with micro-frontend or modular frontend architectures. • Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP/Azure/AWS) and frontend hosting platforms (Vercel). • Strong understanding of web security best practices (XSS, CSRF, CORS). • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
