Job Title :State Technical Manager – Poultry & Goatry Location : Jaipur, Rajasthan, India Organization : Samvedna Development Society CTC : 20-22 LPAJob Overview:Samvedna Development Society (), a new age NGO, is recruiting professionals/ experts in Livestock sector on its payroll for a project supported by BHARAT FINANCIAL INCLUSION LIMITED (A 100 % Subsidiary of IndusInd Bank). Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India has signed an MoU with the Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited (BFIL) to support the livelihood intervention of DAY-NRLM by syncing their activities in livestock and farming development. As part of the MoU, in initial phase a PMU is to be established to support DAY-NRLM at national level and State PMUs to be developed. The PMU is to have specialists from livestock, Market Linkage etc. Please referMinistry of Rural Development, GoI signs MoU with the Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited to synergize the livelihood intervention in livestock sector | Ministry of Rural Development | Government of Indiafor more details.We are currently hiring for the various positions to support the State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM), Rajasthan in managing livestock programmes.Role & Responsibilities: Lead the implementation ofPoultry and Goatry Value Chain initiatives , ensuring sustainable growth and measurable impact across project areas inRajasthan . Oversee and optimize theend-to-end poultry and goatry value chains , from production and input services to processing and market linkages. Collaborate withfarmers, FPOs, SHGs, processors, and other stakeholdersto improve productivity, income, and enterprise sustainability. Conduct training and capacity-building programs forsmallholder farmerson poultry and goatry management, disease control, biosecurity, and value addition. Develop and execute strategies to improvemarket access, quality assurance, and compliance with food safety standardsfor poultry and goatry products. Work closely withlocal communities, SHGs, and partnersto identify sector-specific challenges and growth opportunities in poultry and goatry. Ensure timelydocumentation, reporting, and monitoringof project activities, including performance indicators, financials, and outcomes. Provide technical guidance onanimal health, feed and nutrition management, breeding practices , andforward & backward linkagesfor both poultry and goatry. Promote adoption ofinnovative, climate-smart, and scalable technologiesin poultry and goatry interventions. Build and maintain partnerships withgovernment departments, private sector players, and NGOsto strengthen the poultry and goatry value chain ecosystem.Required Qualifications & Skills:Qualification: UG:BVSc in any specialization PG:MVSc in any specialization / MBA / PGDMSkills & Experience:5–10 years of experienceinPoultry and/or Goatry Value Chain Managementor a related domain. Strong understanding ofpoultry and goatry production systems, market linkages, and value chain optimization . Proficiency inHindi(Rajasthan location); knowledge oflocal Rajasthani dialectswill be an added advantage. Experience intraining, extension, and capacity buildingfor smallholder farmers. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability instakeholder management , including FPOs, government agencies, and market partners. Willingness and ability totravel extensively across project areas in Rajasthan .
