Location:India (with 3 months in person training at Cleveland, Ohio) Industry:PMA / Aerospace / Aviation EngineeringAbout the Role We are looking for an Eligibility Engineer to support the investigation, documentation and analysis of aircraft/ engine installation eligibility of the parts. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience with aerospace documentation, FAA compliance, and real-world engineering decision-making. You will work closely with mechanical engineering, data engineering and compliance teams to research, document, and maintain eligibility data that supports both existing products and new product development.What You will Do ·Create and maintain installation eligibility matrices for parts/components across aircraft/engine platforms. ·Compile eligibility documentation using approved technical libraries such as CMM / AMM / IPCs and regulatory sources as FAA’s SB / ADs. ·Support the standardization of eligibility documentation to improve consistency and efficiency. ·Assist with eligibility gap analysis to identify missing or incomplete installation approvals. ·Assist with procurement lists for missing CMM / IPC / SB / ADs important for part eligibility data. ·Update eligibility records when new technical or regulatory documentation becomes available. ·Support early-stage engineering investigations by researching where candidate parts are installed and what platforms they are eligible for. ·Perform technical research (more details about the components) using internal document libraries and publicly available aviation and regulatory resources. ·Help crosslinking any newly identified assemblies or systems as part of new product development efforts.What We are Looking For ·Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field preferred) or equivalent technical experience. ·1–3 years of experience in aerospace, aviation maintenance, engineering support, or regulatory documentations like CMM / AMM / IPC / SB / ADs (internship or co-op experience welcome). ·Ability to read and understand technical documents such as CMM / AMM / IPC / SB / ADs. ·Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. ·Comfortable performing independent research and organizing technical data. ·Familiarity with aviation regulatory concepts (FAA, PMA, STC, etc.) is a plus, but not mandatory. ·Experienced with Database management software/tools (Good to have). ·Experienced in programming: Python and SQL/Java (Good to have).Why Join Us ·Hands-on exposure to real-world PMA and aerospace engineering and FAA related processes. ·Opportunity to develop specialized expertise in aviation eligibility and compliance. ·Collaborative team environment with mentorship and growth opportunities. ·Direct impact on engineering decisions and product development.
