*************************************************** Note 5 days office at Kharadi Pune Exp with PCB, Wiring Harness, Circuiting and Digital Signal Processing Immediate Joiner/serving notice period *****************************************************Responsible for the development of Cost models for Electrical & Electronics.Strategic Competitive Category and Brand Architecture Analysis that consistently delivers architecture insights to the platformsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES A basic understanding of communication theory and digital signal processing is a plus. Responsible for the cost model development of Electronics ,Wiring Harness commodities. Close interaction with the Target Costing Team, Design Team, and Product Management ( Plant GSS ) Team. Communication skills are a must to deal with global partners. Develop detailed cost estimates for wiring harness components and assemblies based on Physical parts, engineering drawings, specifications, etc Ensure that all cost-related activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and Stakeholder requirements. Strong understanding of wiring harness components, manufacturing processes, and materials (e.g., cables, connectors, terminals). Strong ability to analyze technical drawings, specifications, and financial data to generate accurate cost estimates. Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficient solutions. Support core activities in competitive manufacturing process analysis: Support the creation and maintenance of status, trends, and reports of competitive manufacturing processes Support completion of competitive manufacturing analysis, including manufacturing sequence chart and manufacturing process through teardown and documentation of competitive teardowns Provide input to communication matrices by partnering with the CAA Architecture Analysis team Support documentation and data entry into the competitive manufacturing process database to inform internal Whirlpool manufacturing process documentation and practicesApplication of Technical tools: Basic understanding of electronic circuits, RF circuits, Wiring Harness and Microwave theory Familiarity with cost estimation software (aPriori) and MS Office Suite (Excel, etc.) Knowledge on Costing tools (aPriori DFMA) Knowledge on CAD tools (Creo 2.0 or 4.0), PLM Software- WindchillKey Deliverables Conduct Teardown analysis Competitive Category and Brand Architecture Analysis Report Competitive Communication Matrix Providing insight into the competition analysis of Design and Architecture Conduct a Teardown analysis and prepare a detailed analysis report Explore the opportunities in new regions to exceed the platform’s expectations.
