Draftsmen Department : Design Reporting To : Head – Design Location : Chennai Preferred Industry Experience : Power, Renewable Energy (Solar / Wind / BESS) Immediate Joiners Vacancies- 4Job Description: We are looking for a highly experiencedDraftsmanwith over 3 + years of hands-on experienceinElectrical, Civil, and Mechanical design draftingfor infrastructure, industrial, and EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible forpreparing, reviewing, and finalizing detailed design drawingsin compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. This role requiresstrong technical drafting skills , deep understanding of multi-disciplinary coordination, and the ability to independently deliver accurate construction-ready drawings.Key Responsibilities (Design-Focused): Prepare detailedElectrical, Civil, and Mechanical drawingsincluding layouts, sections, elevations, and schematics. DevelopElectrical drawingssuch as SLDs, cable routing, earthing layouts, lighting layouts, and control schematics. CreateCivil drawingsincluding site layouts, foundations, trenches, structural details, and general arrangement drawings. ProduceMechanical drawingssuch as equipment layouts, piping layouts, fabrication drawings, and installation details. Coordinate drawings across disciplines to ensureclash-free and constructible designs . Review and update drawings based ondesign changes, site conditions, and technical inputs . Ensure all drawings comply withproject standards, statutory codes, and client specifications . Maintain properdrawing documentation, revisions, and version control . Support construction teams by providingas-built drawingsand design clarifications. Work closely with design engineers, project managers, and site teams for timely delivery.Required Skills & Tools: AutoCAD (Mandatory – Advanced level) Knowledge ofelectrical, civil, and mechanical drafting standards Ability to interpretdesign calculations, BOQs, and technical specifications Familiarity with EPC project workflows Experience inmulti-disciplinary coordination Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracyQualifications: Diploma / ITI / Certification inDrafting, Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering Extensive field and design office experience preferredPreferred Industry Experience: EPC Projects Power, Renewable Energy (Solar / Wind / BESS) Industrial & Infrastructure Projects Utilities & Substations
