We're Hiring - Head Treasury Experience: 18–22 Years |Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru | Qualification: CAWe are seeking an experienced Head – Treasury to lead the overall treasury function, including International Treasury, for a leading premium Retail brand. This is a strategic leadership role reporting to the Head – Corporate Finance, responsible for driving liquidity management, forex strategy, fund optimization, and risk governance at an enterprise level.Role OverviewThe Head – Treasury will conceptualize and lead end-to-end treasury operations including cash flow management, debt strategy, investments, hedging, compliance, and working capital optimization. The role requires strong collaboration with CFO, Corporate Finance, Business Finance, Legal, HR, IT, Internal Audit, banks, auditors, AMCs, rating agencies, and other stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesFunds & Liquidity Management • Oversee projected and daily cash flow planning across business verticals • Assess surplus/deficit positions and plan borrowings or investments • Ensure optimal liquidity across domestic and international operationsDebt & Investment Strategy • Design and periodically review investment and borrowing policies • Evaluate investment avenues, assess risk-return profiles, and drive revenue maximization • Execute cost-effective short-term and long-term borrowing strategiesWorking Capital & Banking Relations • Classify fund requirements (fund-based / non-fund-based; short-term / long-term) • Negotiate loan terms and finalize credit facilities • Strengthen banking alliances and improve cash management processesHedging & Risk Management • Identify forex and business risk exposures • Design optimal hedging instruments and review hedging policy annually • Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, and regulatory frameworksGovernance & Compliance • Update treasury policies related to investments, borrowings, and hedging • Ensure Board and Investment Committee approvals where required • Maintain adherence to statutory and internal guidelinesAccounting & Payments Oversight • Review financial cost accounting, interest, and TDS • Ensure accurate and timely vendor and regional disbursementsPeople Leadership • Build a high-performance treasury team • Drive talent development, succession planning, and capability buildingCandidate Profile• Chartered Accountant (CA) • 18–22 years of experience in Corporate Treasury, preferably within large retail, consumer, lifestyle, or premium brands • Strong understanding of macro-economic trends, forex markets, debt/equity markets, and fund management • Proven expertise in hedging strategies and regulatory compliance • Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and business acumenThis is a high-impact opportunity to shape treasury strategy within a fast-growing premium luxury brand, driving financial strength and risk resilience at scale.Senior finance leaders open to a confidential discussion may connect directly.
