AjnaLens is looking for aHardware Design Engineer (HDE 2)to join our Hardware Engineering Team atThane (Maharashtra – India) .We are seeking a highly driven and skilled hardware engineer with4–6 years of experiencein schematic design, component selection, simulation, and power analysis. In this role, you will contribute to the complete hardware development cycle and play a critical part in architecting and optimizing the electronics behind our next-generation AR/VR products and smart glasses. Drive component selection and qualification , balancing performance, reliability, environmental constraints, and cost-effectiveness. Run circuit simulations and perform detailed power analysisto validate design robustness and optimize system behaviour.Minimum Work Experience Required: 5–8 yearsof hands-on experience in hardware design, preferably within consumer electronics, wearables, AR/VR devices, or embedded hardware development.Top 5 Skills You Should Possess: Strong expertise inschematic designand multi-layer PCB design fundamentals. Competence incomponent selection , vendor evaluation, and BOM optimization. Proficiency incircuit simulation , signal integrity checks, and validation workflows. Solid experience inpower analysis , power budgeting, and thermal considerations. Ability to work cross-functionally with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to achieve complete system integration.Full-Stack Awareness: You should possess a working understanding of: PCB layout constraints, stack-up planning, and DFM/DFT practices High-speed interfaces and signal integrity fundamentals Hardware–firmware interfacing and embedded system considerations Reliability testing, environmental validation, and compliance standards (EMI/EMC)Bonus Points For: Experience designing forwearables , compact electronics, or AR/VR hardware platforms Exposure tolow-power, battery-powered architecturesand optimization techniques Familiarity with global certification standards and hardware validation processesWhat You’ll Be Creating: You will help engineer the core electronics that power AjnaLens’ upcoming smart glasses and immersive hardware solutions.
