Location-Pune (Talawade) Flexi to WFO Immediate Joiner/Lesser notice period candidates requiredThis job is that of a in-house legal counsel and the responsibilities include the following:Manage litigation (litigation before the Court / Arbitration/ other dispute resolution processes by way of conciliation, mediation etc.) filed by and against the company, in the jurisdictions within and outside India, efficiently, in an end-to-end manner. Draft, review and conclude on the in-house legal notices; and various applications & documentations as may be required to be filed in connection with the litigations. Conduct risk assessment regarding litigations, coordinate and participate in discussions with the concerned lawyers and work towards preparing the appropriate strategies in the best interest of the company. Conduct regular follows up with the concerned lawyers and update the Management Information Report & the Litigation Management Tool of the company and update the Local Management / Group regarding the progress of litigations as per the given intervals. Coordinate with the internal clients and collect various documents as may be required to be tendered in the litigations and discuss with, advise and if required prepare them for the hearing, tendering evidence, interrogations etc. before the forums / investigating agencies as may be required. Travel to various jurisdictions / forums, if necessary, to attend the hearings or for other requirements in connection with such litigations. Negotiate the Legal Fees with the lawyers as per the policies of the company, prepare engagement letters and on confirmation of their engagement ensure their timely onboarding as required under the vendor management system of the company. Strictly monitor the expenditure in connection with litigations and generate reports as may be required by the company, to support the provisioning of such expenditure. Conduct internal compliance audits and prepare and submit the audit reports to the Local Management and the Group as may be required; and also support and duly respond in the external audits appropriately. Conduct research about case laws, and also about new legislations and their applicability on the company and if required, conduct trainings as may be directed by the Local Management or the Group regarding such new legislations. Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a variety of agreements related to the business of the company, including but not limited to MSAs, SOWs, Purchase Orders, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Data Protection Agreements, Novations, Assignments, Change Requests, Bank / Parental / Corporate Guarantees, Declarations, Undertakings, Indemnities and such other legal documents. To take part in the internal compliance committee and / or any other such committees if so nominated by the Head of the Legal Department. Work towards initiating and executing special projects, and other responsibilities as needed and support the continuous improvement in litigation management and legal cost control. Close coordination with the members of the Legal team and the teamwork is expected for the efficient and timely execution of various projects.Desired Candidate Profile:Qualified lawyer with LL. B degree 3-5 yrs relevant corporate experience
