CASPL renders services through four major platforms:EBONI- Extended Back Office Network International Platform responsible for Financing & Trade Operations (FTO) for trade finance products like Letter of Credit, Guarantees, Collection, Loan & margin deposits, etc. GELOP- Global EBONI Loan Operations Platform responsible for processing of Syndicated Offshore loans. CMO- Capital Market Operations Platform responsible for Middle Office, Back Office Operations functions. IFIN- International Finance Platform responsible for financial control, Nostro reconciliation, review of reports, etc.Within, Operations, Premises & Country COOs (OPC) based in Mumbai, Capital Market Operations (CMO) teams are responsible to process the transaction activities in Middle-Office and Back-Office (CMM & CMB). CMR is in charge of ensuring the completeness and quality of the transactional regulatory reporting of the Bank's market operations. As key partners in all of the Bank's business lines, in relation with the main economic players (international corporate clients, institutional clients, clearing houses, regulatory authorities, etc.), Capital Market Regulatory (CMR) guarantee the quality and continuity as well as the reliability of the operations carried out on the global financial markets, in compliance with international regulations, and manage operating real estate, CACIB's security and services to occupants. Additionally, you will help to run adhoc studies in order to help some decisions or answer regulators’ queries and/or building data-driven solutions to address complex issues. Last, you will be responsible for transforming data into readable, goal-oriented reports that drive efficiency as well as improvements opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesWithin CMR, your responsibilities will include:Roll-out Trade Reporting Control plan cross-jurisdictions:Define/design adequate controls and implement the rules in SmartDQ (CACIB internal data quality tool) Ensure effectiveness of controls through rigorous testing and analysis Evaluate the performance of the controls and refining them as needed Train and provide guidance to Data analysts who will be in charge of Controls in run modeAutomate existing controls and/or run adhoc studies:Build tools to automate controls, data collection and reports visualization Search through large data set for useable information to address complex issues/studies or answer a regulator’s queryCreate reports and presentations for business use: Present controls’ results and suggestions by using easily understandable visual and concise reports Explore and visualize data to identify patterns, trends and relationships Correlate similar data to find actionable results Structure reports in a way to allow effective analysis and derive meaningful insightsContribute to improve efficiency and drive innovation through the power of data and use of new technologies (IA, machine learning …)Role requirements :Degree holder in Data Science, Statistics or a related field Double degree in Finance would be appreciated Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools and programming languages Seniority level : 3 to 6 years’ of experience in a similar role within a CIB foreign Bank Knowledge of capital markets financial products Knowledge of regulations such as EMIR, DFA, CSA, MiFiD II, SFTR, MMSR or SMMD would be welcomeCompetencies required:Good synthetic analysis skills and excellent communication and presentation abilities Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Sense of results and priorities Good interpersonal skills Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy Interest in technologies and innovation Knowledge of formalization and communication tools (MS Office – MS SharePoint) Knowledge of one or more programming languages (Python, SQL, etc.) Excellent command of at least one computer language Mastery of data analysis techniques, machine learning, AI Statistical methodologies In-depth knowledge of an analytical tool Understanding of the ethical issues related to the collection and use of data Proficient in English Perfectly at ease in a multi-cultural environment
