The candidate will be responsible for overseeing installation, commissioning, compliance, and quality control while ensuring timely and safe project execution. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale renewable energy projects in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities:1. Project Planning & Design Coordination.Coordinate with the project management and design team for electrical layouts, SLDs, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications. Review and validate electrical drawings prior to site execution. Ensure on-site execution aligns with approved design documents.2. Procurement & Material Management.Coordinate with procurement teams for sourcing electrical materials and equipment. Verify delivered materials as per BOQ and approved technical specifications. Monitor inventory and prevent material shortages at site.3. Installation Supervision.Supervise: DC & AC cable laying Inverter installation Transformer erection Switchgear and panel installation HT/LT electrical works Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality protocols. Manage subcontractors and electrical workforce effectively.4. Testing, Commissioning & Energization.Conduct pre-commissioning checks and electrical testing. Assist in plant energization and grid synchronization. Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate corrective actions. Ensure smooth handover to O&M team.5. Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance.Ensure compliance with: Applicable electrical codes and standards DISCOM and regulatory requirements Project technical specifications Maintain quality checklists and inspection records.6. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE).Enforce strict adherence to site safety policies. Conduct toolbox talks and safety inspections. Ensure safe working practices during HT/LT operations.7. Documentation & Reporting.Maintain DPRs (Daily Progress Reports). Prepare commissioning reports and as-built documentation. Report progress, risks, and site issues to Project Manager.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum3 years of experiencein ground-mounted solar PV project execution. Strong understanding of: HT/LT systems Inverter & transformer installations Grid connectivity Proficiency inAutoCAD, PVsyst , and MS Office. Ability to read and interpret SLDs and electrical drawings. Strong coordination and multitasking ability. Willingness to travel and stay at project sites.
