There is a great opportunity to deliver, learn, and grow as this small team is rapidly growing and delivering many impactful features.#LifeAtProofpoint as a Current Product Engineer/Sustaining EngineerWe are looking for an exceptional Current Product Engineer (CPE) who is responsible for maintaining and improving quality, reliability, and delivery of current product features. The CPE engineer helps with the customer issues reported from the field by triaging and addressing them with the required changes. The CPE role is also responsible for providing feedback to new product development teams to improve quality/reliability of future products. The role is a combination of software development, quality assurance, and technical support with a primary focus on making the existing products function well for customers.What you bring to the team· 4+ years of development experience in Python or NodeJS is preferred · Experience in debugging production issues is a must Expertise in public cloud compute and networking, with hands-on experience in at least one of the following: AWS, GCP, or Azure. · Proven experience with REST API-driven automation using Python or JavaScript. · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, innovative environment. · Adaptability and a keen interest in staying current with new technologies and evolving industry trends. · Understanding of github and experience with CI/CD pipelines, including the setup and management of automated build, test, and deployment workflows · Prior experience in testing SaaS security products is a plus · Experience in debugging complex products, and building monitoring dashboards is preferredWhy Proofpoint Protecting people is at the heart of our award-winning lineup of cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.
