We are looking for acommercially minded marketing leaderwho knows how to win shelf space, activate trade, and manage distributor conflicts in high-growth, complex markets.THE ROLE We are seeking aresults-driven Marketing Managerto drive aggressive brand growth and market penetration across 15+ markets. You will be responsible for taking our beverage brands from "available" to "dominant" by aligning pricing architecture, distributor incentives, and consumer demand.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. MARKET STRATEGY & BRAND POSITIONING Develop and execute the3-year brand portfolio strategyfor the Africa & Middle East region. Reposition existing brands to compete effectively against global giants and low-cost local alternatives. Identify white space opportunities in the non-alcoholic ready-to-drink (NARTD) category. Ensure brand equity translates across diverse cultures and purchasing power parity. 2. DISTRIBUTOR NETWORK MANAGEMENT (Commercial Marketing) Bridge the gap between sales and marketing. Work hand-in-hand with the Sales Director to convert distributor relationships into high-visibility market execution. Createdistributor incentive programsand marketing ROI toolkits for partners Conduct "Route-to-Market" audits to ensure brand visibility correlates with market share growth. 3. PRODUCT LAUNCHES & INNOVATION Lead theend-to-end Go-To-Market (GTM)strategy for new SKUs (seasonal variants, value packs, premium imports). Collaborate with R&D and supply chain to localize products (flavor profiles, packaging sizes) for African palates and affordability. 4. PRICING STRATEGY & DEMAND FORECASTING Designtiered pricing architectures(Economy, Mainstream, Premium) to defend market share while protecting margins. Utilize pricing elasticity models to navigate volatile FX markets and raw material inflation. Partner with the finance team to align promotional spend with accurate demand forecasting, minimizing wastage. 5. SALES COORDINATION & TRADE MARKETING Translate consumer insights intohard-hitting trade activation . Lead the development of Point of Sale (POS) materials, cooler placement programs, and merchandising standards. Ensure "Perfect Store" execution across modern trade, traditional trade, and HORECA.CANDIDATE PROFILE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 10–15 yearsof total experience, with a minimum of5+ years specifically within the Beverage Manufacturing industry. Musthave worked with a multinational beverage company (e.g., PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Red Bull, SABMiller/AB InBev, Lactalis, or a major regional bottler). Proven track record oftaking a brand from Phase 1 (Launch) to Phase 3 (Market Leadership) Extensive experience working inAfrica or the Middle Eastis mandatory. Candidates with only Western/European experience will not be considered.SKILL SET: Hard Skills:Brand P&L management, Distributor management, Trade marketing strategy, Pricing architecture, Consumer insights. Soft Skills:High resilience, negotiation skills, ability to work with minimal infrastructure, "roll up the sleeves" attitude.
