Role Summary The IREG Roaming Team Leaderis responsible forend-to- end ownership of IREG operations, including IREG testing, troubleshooting, Huawei core configuration validation, and 24/7 operational support for inbound and outbound roaming services. The role includes hands-on technical responsibilities as well as L1 team leadership, ensuring service stability, compliance with GSMA IREG standards. This is a purely technical and operational role, with no commercial or contractual responsibilities.Key Responsibilities IREG Operations & Technical Ownership• Take full responsibility for IREG operations for Comium (Inbound & Outbound) • Conduct and support IREG testing and troubleshooting with roaming partners • Prepare and maintain IREG project technical documentation, test plans, and sign-off reports • Perform post-launch quality testing on a regular basis to ensure service stabilityCore Network & Huawei Expertise is a plus • Actively monitor and analyzeSS7 and Diameter traces • Perform configuration validation and troubleshooting onHuawei core network elements , including: – HLR / HSS / UDM – STP / DRA • Validate roaming behavior related to authentication, routing, APN resolution, and session establishment24/7 Operations & Team Leadership • Lead and manage theL1 IREG support team on a 24/7 basis • Act as theprimary escalation point (L2)for roaming-related incidents • Coordinate with internal technical teams and external partners to ensurerapid issue resolutionMonitoring & Performance Management • Monitordaily signaling usage , IPX bandwidth consumption, and roaming traffic patterns • Monitor voice interconnect routes related to roaming and sponsored eSIM traffic Cross-Team Coordination • Coordinate closely with internal teams and external roaming partners based on priority plans • Maintain updatedcontact matricesfor fast escalation and incident handling • Work closely with theIT / OCS team/Commercial Roaming Managerto understand and support implementation ofCAMEL logic requirementsTechnical Scope • IREG domains: Voice (where applicable), SMS, Data • Protocols and interfaces: – SS7 (MAP) – Diameter (S6a, Gy) – GTP-C / GTP-U (operational validation level) • Tools & systems: – Wireshark / tcpdump – Huawei core network management tools – Signaling and IPX monitoring platformsRequired Profile • Strong hands-on experience withIREG testing and roaming operations • Proven experience withHuawei core network environments • Solid understanding ofinternational roaming signaling flows • Ability to analyze and troubleshootSS7 / Diameter traces • Experience leading or coordinating24/7 operational support teams • Experience working withIPX providers, roaming hubs, or sponsored IMSI environments
