Known for its expertise in high-stakes cases, the firm handles both national and international disputes and is committed to ensuring timely and effective outcomes for its clients.Role Description We are seeking a proactive, client-facing real estate associate (5+ years PQE) who can independently manage matters across property disputes, land acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and real estate transactions, and who thrives on courtroom practice, drafting, and direct client engagement.Practice Areas: Real Estate Law, Property Disputes, RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) matters, Land Revenue, and related Civil Litigation.Eligibility & Requirements: Candidate with 5+ years post-qualification experience in active real estate practice, including litigation and transactional work. (We will consider 3+ yrs for exceptionally strong profiles) Enrolment with a State Bar Council; right to appear in Karnataka High Court an advantage. Proficiency in Kannada is mandatory , with strong drafting skills and legal research ability. Proven experience in real estate disputes, title verification, conveyancing, and at least some exposure to RERA compliance, land acquisition, or zoning/regulatory matters (or related administrative litigation). Client-facing experience, comfortable leading client meetings, and handling client expectations. Self-starter attitude, able to manage a docket independently and mentor juniors. Excellent interpersonal skills, professional presence, and high ethical standards.Roles & Responsibilities: Independently manage day-to-day conduct of real estate matters across property disputes, title searches, land acquisitions, regulatory filings, and related civil litigation. Draft agreements, deeds, pleadings, appeals, affidavits, applications (including interim reliefs), legal opinions, and complex submissions related to real estate transactions and disputes. Appear and argue matters before District Courts, Sessions Courts, special tribunals (e.g., RERA Tribunal), and the Karnataka High Court, and represent clients in hearings. Take ownership of client communication: briefing clients on property matters, drafting client updates, attending client calls/meetings, and preparing senior counsel for hearings. Conduct substantive legal research on property laws, statutory interpretation (e.g., Transfer of Property Act, RERA, Karnataka Land Revenue Act), and precedent analysis; prepare research memoranda and advisory notes. Supervise and mentor juniors; review their draft work and delegate tasks effectively. Manage filings, due diligence processes, title verifications, and deadlines; coordinate with external counsels, surveyors, or authorities when required. Support alternate dispute resolution (arbitration, mediation) processes where applicable in real estate conflicts.
