We are seeking aSenior Java/OpenShift Developerto design, implement, and manage containerized Java applications in a hybrid work environment. This role involves leveragingOpenShift ,Kubernetes , andDevOps practicesto develop enterprise-grade microservices and optimize performanceKey Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy Java applications in containerized environments usingRed Hat OpenShift ,Kubernetes , andDocker . Implement containerization strategies, optimizing application performance and security within OpenShift. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines usingJenkinsandAnsible , automating deployments and streamlining workflows. Design and deliver features in compliance with enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality. Identify and remediate application security vulnerabilities (e.g., CVEs). Participate in planning, estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices.Qualifications: Education : Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : 7+ years of experience building large-scale Java applications. Expertise in designing and developing robustREST APIsandMicroservicesusingSpring Boot . Hands-on experience withOpenShift/Kubernetes , including automation and scripting for building infrastructure. Proven experience migrating existingSOAP & REST servicesto OpenShift. Strong understanding of networking, security, and storage concepts in containerized environments. Skilled inCI/CD toolssuch as JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible. Proficiency inUnix/Linux environmentsand strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, visible environment.
