Tech/Post Graduate Electrical & ElectronicsPurpose of the Position Ensures the development and testing of charging infrastructure components (wallboxes, charging cables...). Verifies the functionality of interface between electric vehicle and charging infrastructure (interoperability tests). Supports the implementation of the MSP system at Škoda Auto.Authority Authorize and approve test plans, DVPs, and validation strategies for EV charging system and infrastructure testing. Approve test setups, lab readiness, and instrumentation calibration before test execution. Validate and sign off test reports and compliance results before design or production release. Decide on corrective actions or revalidation needs based on test deviations or failures.Skills Required Communication in English Analytical & problem solving skills Good knowledge about automobile technics Product development knowledge for ICE BEV components including charging systems Good administrative skills : ability to plan , develop and structureResponsibilities and TasksTest Strategy & DVP Preparation Develop Design Verification Plans (DVP) for EV charging system and infrastructure components as per Indian and global standards. Test Plan & Procedure Development Define detailed test plans, test cases, and expected results for electrical, functional, and environmental tests. System Integration Testing Conduct interoperability testing between EV, EVSE, and backend systems (CMS/OCPP/ISO 15118). Hardware & Software Validation Verify and validate ECU functions (OBC, EVCC, DCDC) and embedded software related to charging control. EMI/EMC & HV Safety Testing Plan and execute EMI/EMC, surge, insulation resistance, dielectric strength, and leakage current tests as per AIS/IEC. Environmental & Reliability Testing Perform temperature, humidity, vibration, corrosion, and IP protection testing for charger assemblies. Performance & Efficiency Testing Evaluate charging efficiency, power factor, harmonics, and thermal performance under varying load and grid conditions. Test Setup & Lab Readiness Ensure readiness of test benches, measurement tools, HV equipment, and calibration before execution. Compliance & Standards Mapping Ensure test coverage as per AIS 138, AIS 004, IEC 61851, IEC 62196, ISO 15118, and BIS standards. Test Execution & Data Acquisition Execute tests, capture high-quality data, and ensure traceability of test configurations and conditions. Failure Analysis & Corrective Actions Perform root cause analysis for test failures and define revalidation actions with design and supplier teams. Documentation & Reporting Prepare detailed test reports, results summaries, and non-conformance records for each validation phase. Lab Safety & Quality Management Enforce lab safety protocols and maintain ISO 17025 or equivalent test lab quality compliance. Supplier & External Lab Coordination Coordinate outsourced tests and ensure supplier compliance with technical and quality requirements. Continuous Improvement & Benchmarking Capture test learnings, propose process improvements, and benchmark new testing technologies.
