Tech – Mechanical / Automobile Engg.Purpose of the PositionResponsibility for BIW-DMU and PMU Expert functions. Lead end-to-end planning and executionof DMU activities for BIW systems, ensuring alignment with product development gateways and organizational KPIs. Drivegeometric compatibility assessments , clash detection, and kinematic simulations across the BIW and upper-body zones to guarantee integration within the vehicle envelope. Serve as thecustodian of virtual maturityby validating digital results against physical mock-up benchmarks (PMU), ensuring design intent is retained through build stages. Managedata orchestration (HDBT)and conduct comprehensive DMU reviews inVirtual Product Environment (VPE)across all program variants and configurations. Develop and disseminategeoGFF (geometric Whole Vehicle Approval)documentation and own the space claim analysis for HUT/Upper Body interfaces. Prepare and present detailedtechnical reports, digital conformity checklists, and milestone readiness assessmentsto leadership and engineering stakeholders. Serve as akey contributor to platform strategythrough robust DMU reviews, packaging validation, and architectural harmonization across modules. Ensure digital data quality and maturity by monitoring and interpreting data from systems such asZMBandConnectand driving resolution to all integration anomalies.AuthorityAuthorized to prepare and disseminateproject status reports, meeting minutes (MoM), and daily DMU assessments . Entrusted withcross-domain integration governance , ensuring all BIW components achieve compatibility within the full-vehicle digital context. Authorized toreview and validate virtual results using DMU toolsets , and trigger escalation processes in case of non-conformities or design misalignments platforms likeZMBandConnect , ensuring quality and compliance. Take proactive actions to prevent project delays and ensure milestone adherence. Independently validatedigital and physical mock-up resultsand coordinate necessary design adjustments with engineering teams. Support the planning and execution ofDCCSkills RequiredGood in Communication Skill & MS office Know-how of system like Connect, KVS, CATIA and ZMB DMU Technique and Virtual Product Development knowledge Presentation Skills for top management reports Know-how of EV Architecture, Change management process. Accounting, Negotiation Skills, Soft Skills, interpersonal skills VRED – Virtual reality softwareKey Responsibilities and TasksPerformDMUcheck for each virtual stage of project for all required variants. CreatingPMUplan and conducting PMU activity. Monitoring PMU issues and conducting CFT to resolve issue. Prepare DMU and PMU issue reports& regularly report progress to HoD`s including decisions & impact to project timeline. Perform data preparation and support to conduct digital customer check (DCC) Ready to work on special projects, as & when needed, in whole development competencies. Co-ordinate and close decisions of committees from Whole Vehicle department point of view. Represent Whole Vehicle in all these committees, Follow up & close topics Evaluation of issue reports from system ZMB and connect. Monitoring component integration in whole vehicle (coordination with DMU process) for projects MQB and CMP21D Maintain data in system & adhere to protocol, defined rules & process. Make new ISO documents, update processes and guidelines for new projects. Ensure compliance for all activities within area/ project Create daily reports, MoM, Project status etc. Ensures qualified work with very complicated technology and organizational demands in digital mockup to ensure quality data into system Support other projects and activities within EG, based on tasks and project loads.
