Tech – Mechanical / Automobile EnggPurpose of the PositionResponsibility for EV Upperbody(HUT)-DMU and PMU Expert functions. Spearhead theend-to-end planning, execution, and governanceof digital mockup (DMU) activities for the EV upper body (HUT) domain across all program phases. Ensuregeometric compatibility and spatial integrationof HUT systems with adjacent domains such as BIW, Interior, Trim, Electrical, and Powertrain, through DMU and Kinematic simulations. Execute detailedvirtual packaging, clash analysis, and clearance validationsusing industry-standard DMU tools and ensure design maturity at each digital milestone. Oversee the collection and management of key data (HDBT) and drive high-fidelity virtual product development (VPE) to support digital and physical convergence. Validate upper body integration viaPMU (Physical Mockup)correlation and ensure alignment of digital intent with physical execution. Prepare and lead cross-functional reviews, deliveringmilestone reports, risk assessments, and status dashboardsrelated to upper body digital integration. Author and distributegeoGFF (Geometric Whole Vehicle Approvals)and lead packaging negotiations across domains. Conduct and logspace analyses and interface evaluationsbetween HUT and critical platform zones to ensure architecture compliance and occupant safety.AuthorityAuthorized to issuedaily reports, integration risk logs, project MoMs, and milestone documentation . Empowered to perform independent reviews of HUT data in systems such asZMB, Connect , and escalate integration issues to responsible engineering and design teams. Accountable for ensuringon-time delivery of digital maturity gates , and for initiating corrective actions to avoid delays in program schedules. Full authority to conduct and validateDMU results through software tools and physical verification during PMU activities . Accounting, Negotiation Skills, Soft Skills, interpersonal skills VRED – Virtual reality softwareResponsibilities and TasksPerformDMUcheck for each virtual stage of project for all required variants. CreatingPMUplan and conducting PMU activity. Monitoring PMU issues and conducting CFT to resolve issue. Prepare DMU and PMU issue reports& regularly report progress to HoD`s including decisions & impact to project timeline. Perform data preparation and support to conductdigital customer check (DCC) Ready to work on special projects, as & when needed, in whole development competencies. Co-ordinate and close decisions of committees from Whole Vehicle department point of view. Represent Whole Vehicle in all these committees, Follow up & close topics Evaluation of issue reports from system ZMB and connect. Monitoring component integration in whole vehicle (coordination with DMU process) for projects MQB and CMP21D Maintain data in system & adhere to protocol, defined rules & process. Make new ISO documents, update processes and guidelines for new projects. Ensure compliance for all activities within area/ project Create daily reports, MoM, Project status etc. Ensures qualified work with very complicated technology and organizational demands in digital mockup to ensure quality data into system Support other projects and activities within EG, based on tasks and project loads.
