The candidate will directly manage US-based clients and must possess strong GL accounting expertise, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in transition and international accounting processes.ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end US Accounting / International Accounting processes.Handle General Ledger (GL) and R2R (Record to Report) functions.Write and review general journal entries across different ERP systems.Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.Handle revenue and expense accounting.Ensure compliance with US GAAP.Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and accounting documentation.Manage direct communication with US-based clients and stakeholders.Handle client escalations and ensure SLA adherence.Lead and mentor a small team of 2–3 members.Drive and manage end-to-end transition of accounting processes (Minimum 2–3 transition projects preferred). QualificationsCA InterCA FinalistCMA Inter / Semi-Qualified CMAMBA – Finance (with relevant US / International exposure) Required Skills7+ years of experience in US / International Accounting.Strong hands-on exposure to GL Accounting and R2R processes.Experience in journal entry writing and month-end closing.US GAAP knowledge – Mandatory.End-to-end transition experience – Mandatory.Experience handling direct US client interactions.Strong English communication skills – Mandatory.Leadership experience managing 2–3 team members.Flexible to work in US / International shifts.
