Find out more about us atThe Position: Product Manager (B2B | NHI) Organization:Jubilant Ingrevia Limited Designation & Level:Product Manager – NHI (B2B) Location:Corporate Office Reporting to:SBU Head – NHIRole Purpose The Product Manager – NHI (B2B) will drive strategic product leadership and innovation for the Nutrition & Health Ingredients portfolio by building a multi-year product roadmap, leading customer and application-led product development, enabling commercial success, and managing portfolio profitability through cross-functional execution and supplier partnerships. Key Responsibilities 1) Strategic Product Leadership & Roadmap Develop and execute a multi-yearB2B product roadmapaligned with customer needs, market trends, and business growth priorities. Identify national and global trends innutrition ingredients, health claims, and application formatsto build differentiated offerings. Map market gaps and white spaces across industries such asfunctional foods, beverages, dietary supplements, and nutrition solutions. 2) Support to Ongoing Product Range Support current NHI product portfolio to ensure sustained growth and customer satisfaction. Partner with Sales and Technical/Application teams to support customer queries, trials, reformulations, and troubleshooting for ongoing products. Lead continuous improvement initiatives for existing products through cost optimization, performance enhancement, and process improvements. 3) Product Innovation, Development & Commercialization Lead end-to-end product development fromconcept → feasibility → sampling → scale-up → commercialization. Translate customer requirements intoclear technical product specificationsfor R&D, applications, and manufacturing teams. Drive innovation through new ingredient technologies, improved functionality, and differentiated formats suitable for B2B customers. Support creation of product documentation includingspec sheets, technical dossiers, stability data, and application guidance. 4) Customer & Market Insights (B2B Focus) Capture insights through customer interactions, industry forums, and competitive benchmarking. Convert insights intonew product concepts 5) Cross-Functional Execution & Stakeholder Alignment Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations to ensure smooth execution of product plans. Lead governance forums to ensure alignment ontimelines, cost targets, specifications, and launch readiness. 6) Portfolio & Profitability Management Own portfolio performance across multi-year horizon includingmargins, cost optimization, and product lifecycle management. Support segmentation and positioning based oncustomer industry, application needs, value proposition, and competitive differentiation. Partner with Sales and Finance to develop business cases, pricing logic, and value-based positioning for key offerings. Qualifications & Experience B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Technology and MBA from top B school 6–10 years of experience in product development, preferably inB2B Nutrition / Ingredients. Proven experience taking products fromconcept to commercial launchin a manufacturing-led environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience inscientific methods, experimental design, and structured innovation. Personal Characteristics Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline and customer orientation. Comfortable working in a global business environment with adaptability to local market dynamics.
