The organization’s mission is to identify relevant social concerns, develop meaningful interventions and ensure their effective, scalable implementation across the country.Job Summary:The Assistant Manager – Impact Partnerships will play a crucial role in strengthening and expanding strategic partnerships with corporates, CSR foundations, philanthropic institutions and other relevant stakeholders to support BJS’ mission and programmes. The role combines strategic engagement, relationship management, proposal development, impact communication and effective coordination across functions to drive resource mobilization and deepen partner engagement.Key Responsibilities:(a) Partnership Strategy & Outreach: Research, identify and engage potential partners whose priorities align with BJS’ mission, programmes and impact goals. Support development of tailored engagement strategies for prospective donors. Assist in developing high-quality concept notes, proposals, partnership decks and budgets for effective donor engagement. (b) Donor Engagement & Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing and prospective donor partners. Coordinate meetings, presentations and follow-up conversations with all stakeholders to progress partnership engagements. Work with programme teams to capture impact data, success stories and case studies for donor engagement and reporting purposes. Support programme teams in developing proposals, concept notes, and strategic project documentation. (c) Donor Reporting & Compliance: Prepare high-quality, timely and accurate donor reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) as per agreed formats and timelines with various donor partners. Coordinate with programme and finance teams to collect utilization data, impact metrics and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with donor agreements, MoUs and CSR reporting requirements. Closely track grant milestones, deliverables and utilisation schedules to avoid delays and non-compliance. Maintain complete documentation of agreements, amendments, invoices and reporting records related to all donor/partner engagements. (d) Donor Database & Systems Management: Maintain and regularly update donor databases, CRM systems, and grant trackers. Monitor key donor timelines, renewal cycles and reporting calendars. Develop structured trackers for grant utilization and partnership commitments. (e) Partner and Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a bridge between partners, programme and finance teams to ensure execution of donor commitments. Support the leadership/management with data, summaries and briefing notes for various donor engagements. Assist in developing donor engagement SOPs and internal reporting systems.Qualifications and Experience: Master’s degree in development studies, Social Work, Management, or a related field. Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in donor management, CSR partnerships, grant management or institutional fundraising within the social development/non-profit sector. Understanding of CSR compliance frameworks and grant management processes.Key Skills and Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English and Hindi. Working knowledge of Marathi a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for grant tracking, utilisation analysis) and PowerPoint (for donor presentations). Ability to manage multiple donor accounts simultaneously with structured planning. High level of integrity, empathy, and alignment with service-oriented values.
