Our client is looking for Head Liasioning - MumbaiReporting to President- Corporate AffairsMandate The individual works directly with President- Corporate Affairs. This role requires dealing with various Government Departments like- BMC, SRA, MHADA, MoEF, Revenue, Town & Country Planning, Pollution Control Board, Electricity Board, WRD, Excise, Police, Labour, Health & Safety, NHAI, Secretariate, etc, to secure various Approvals/Permissions/Licenses/NOC's..Ideal Candidate ProfileKey ResponsibilityRegulatory & Compliance Lead all liaisoning activities with Government authorities, Urban Local Bodies, Development Authorities, State & Central Departments. Obtain approvals, NOCs, and clearances for land acquisition, zoning, building plans, environmental, fire, utilities, and other statutory requirements. Ensure compliance with RERA, Municipal laws, and other applicable real estate regulations.Government & External Relations Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, statutory bodies, industry associations, and consultants. Act as the company’s representative for policy advocacy and regulatory discussions. Monitor changes in policies, laws, and regulations impacting real estate projects and advise management proactively.Project Support Facilitate smooth execution of real estate projects by coordinating with internal teams (legal, projects, land, finance, etc.). Resolve bottlenecks in approvals and statutory processes. Support land due diligence, title clearance, and acquisition processes. Coordinate with external stakeholders to address any concerns or queries related to ongoing real estate projects. Facilitate communication and collaboration among all parties involved.Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges that may affect project timelines or compliance. Proactively develop strategies and contingency plans to mitigate these risks. Provide timely updates and reports to senior management on potential issues and recommended courses of action.Stakeholder Management: Engage and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including community groups, local organizations, and industry associations.Regulatory Engagement: Actively engage with Central, State, and Local government authorities, industry chambers, and regulatory bodies to represent the organization’s interests in policy formulation and amendments related to real estate, urban development, land, and infrastructure. Policy Monitoring & Analysis: Continuously track emerging policies, draft bills, notifications, and circulars that impact the real estate and infrastructure sector. Assess implications for the organization and provide recommendations to management.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering 20+ of experience in liaisoning, with significant exposure to real estate / infrastructure projects. Proven track record of obtaining large-scale project approvals and managing regulatory challenges. Strong network with government officials, regulators, and statutory bodies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. High integrity, discretion, and ability to work in sensitive environments.Please share cv to kavita.aparanji@
