Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilledNetwork Engineerwith strong expertise inRouting, Switching, and Firewall managementto support enterprise networks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience withPalo Alto, Cisco ASA, Cisco FPR firewalls , and proven skills inmonitoring, troubleshooting, and managing large-scale WAN/LAN infrastructures . Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN networks to ensure high availability and SLA compliance. Configure, manage, and troubleshootCisco Routers, Switches, and Firewall devices(Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Cisco FPR). Implement, review, and maintainnetwork security policies, NAT, ACLs, and VPN configurations . Performrouting and switching operationsincluding OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VLAN, STP, HSRP, EtherChannel, and Inter-VLAN routing. Work onnetwork monitoring toolslike SolarWinds, PRTG, HP NNM, DNAC, or similar for proactive alerting and issue resolution. Collaborate withISPs and vendorsfor troubleshooting and escalation of network issues. Handleincident management and ticketingin tools such as ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution of P1/P2 incidents. Participate innetwork upgrades, patching, and hardware replacementswhile minimizing downtime. Maintainnetwork documentationincluding diagrams, configurations, and SOPs. Ensure compliance with security standards and assist infirewall and network audits . Required Skills & Experience: Experience:5+ years in enterprise networking and security. Strong knowledge ofRouting & Switching protocols : OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, RIP. Hands-on experience withCisco ASA, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco FPR , and basic Fortinet exposure. Solid experience withLAN/WAN technologies , VLANs, STP/RSTP/MST, HSRP, EtherChannel, Inter-VLAN routing. Network monitoring tools : SolarWinds, PRTG, HP NNM, DNAC, Check_MK, or similar. Troubleshooting skillsfor both Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues. Working knowledge ofSD-WAN, MPLS, QoS, VPNs, NAT, DMZ . Familiarity withticketing and ITSM tools(ServiceNow or similar). Excellentcommunication skills , problem-solving, and ability to work under pressure. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Electronics, IT, or related field . CCNA mandatory; CCNP or firewall certifications preferred. Nice-to-Have: Hands-on experience withCisco DNA Center, Meraki, Fortinet, or Checkpoint Firewalls . Experience withdata center network operationsand network automation tools. Exposure tosecurity incident response and firewall rule auditing .
