Role Overview As a Lead Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling the core digital platforms that power iCliniq’s healthcare products. This role is end to end engineering position, requiring a minimum of 3 years of hands-on Software engineering experience, with at least 6 months of direct experience developing and integrating AI agents or agent-driven systems into production platforms. You will work closely with AI engineers to integrate intelligent capabilities while maintaining strong ownership of platform architecture, reliability, and delivery. Key Responsibilities Platform & Engineering Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance web platforms. Design and deliver full stack applications driven with AI Own end-to-end delivery of features from design through production deployment. Ensure system reliability, performance, security, and scalability. Enforce engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, and documentation. Mentor and guide engineers through technical leadership and code reviews. Collaborate closely with specialists. AI Integration & Collaboration Work hands-on on AI workskows, Agents and Data pipelines. Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to productionize AI models, including AI agents, and related services. Participate in architectural decisions. Ensure AI integrations meet platform standards for performance, reliability, and security. Skill Requirements Core Engineering Skills Expert-level proficiency in ReactJS with TypeScript. Knowledge of python Strong understanding of NodeJS with TypeScript. Solid knowledge of GraphQL and its implementation. Experience in Astro is an added advantage Knowledge of microservices and modular monolithic architecture and design principles. Strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming paradigms. Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of web security best practices. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools. Knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD). Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Experience in building scalable and maintainable web applications. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. AI & Intelligent Systems Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience developing or integrating AI agents or LLM applications or agent-based systems in production environments. Practical experience in working with Gen AI. Experience in integrating AI/ML models is added advantage Infrastructure Must have experience with any one of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Practical experience in cloud preferably in GCP managed services. Understanding of CI CD pipeline and best practices. Good knowledge in securing web applications. AI native Software Development Practical experience in using AI agents for software development. AI powered development best practices. Collaboration & Leadership Technical leadership understanding modern AI SDLC. Guide technical discussions, decision making and taking up accountability Review AI-related integrations for maintainability, performance, and security. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience in production systems. Proven experience leading complex software projects in production environments. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance platform stability with innovation.
