Identify and develop reliable suppliers, especially in China and the USA. Handle price negotiations, cost comparisons, and vendor evaluation. Coordinate with internal engineering/design teams to understand material requirements from drawings and specifications. Review architectural/engineering drawings to determine procurement needs. Manage documentation related to purchase orders, contracts, and shipments. Ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost optimization. Coordinate with logistics partners for international shipments and customs processes. Travel, when required, particularly to China for supplier meetings and procurement activities.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering would be preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings. Proven experience in end-to-end procurement and vendor negotiations. Hands-on experience dealing with suppliers in China and familiarity with the Chinese purchasing ecosystem. Understanding of US procurement/export regulations and processes.
