QpiAI is building a full-stack Enterprise Quantum Computers. QpiAI Quantum hardware team is responsible for designing and charaterisation of Quantum Processor, Cryogenic Quantum Control Circuits, RF Control Hardware and QpiAI ASGP.Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled We are looking for a skilled and reliable Equipment Engineer to oversee, maintain, and support semiconductor manufacturing systems within our facilities. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the safe, stable, and efficient operation of equipment and processes related to Thin Film and Dry Etch to join our quantum hardware fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science, thin-film deposition processes, and nanofabrication, particularly for superconducting devices. This role involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining thin-film processes for superconducting materials and associated device stack elements.Requirements B.E/MSc/M.Tech/PhD Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics or quantum technology. Strong knowledge of semiconductor fabrication tools and processes, with hands-on cleanroom experience. Develop, optimize, and sustain thin film deposition, dry etch, and lithography processes Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot deposition tools including PVD, Dry Etch and Lithography. Monitor and control thin film properties such as thickness, uniformity, stress, adhesion, and resistivity Perform DOE experiments and detailed process characterization Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; coordinate with equipment vendors for repairs and upgrades Support new tool installation, qualification, and ramp-up to production Develop and maintain SOPs, process specifications, and training documentation Develop and optimize plasma dry etch recipes to achieve required CD control and profile Optimize critical process parameters including RF power, chamber pressure, and gas chemistry Experience developing or optimizing materials processes for quantum, low-temperature devices is a plus. Knowledge of cryogenic device performance, coherence-limiting mechanisms, and material-device interactions is a plus. Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
