Sr. Process Engineer- Job Description (India) The position is open at our India office working with our UK based teams. We have openings for Senior Process Engineers with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Process Engineering and Design. As a member of team, you will be responsible for carrying out the Designs & Calculations and developing Drawings for UK Water projects. You will be working under the direction of the Team Manager, Project Managers and Lead Design Engineers.Qualifications and Experience Required Minimum B. Tech / M. Tech in Environmental/Chemical Engineering from an institution of repute. Extensive knowledge and experience of design in the water and municipal wastewater industry. Including Biological Treatment processes. An appreciation of the implications of works on the environment and knowledge of sustainable solutions, water and wastewater processes and health and safety legislation. The ability to work with engineers from all disciplines and other industry professionals to optimise and develop bespoke and innovative designs. Proficiency in MS Office Software including Excel. Strong interpersonal / team working skills, with a good working relationship with all levels of the organisation, clients and contractorsPrincipal Duties and Main Activities Process Engineering , working in a Multidisciplinary Team, interfacing, and coordinating with the other disciplines Water / Wastewater Treatment Design Providing Outline and Detailed Process Design Deliverables, including; -Process Design and Calculations - Process Control Philosophy (and URS) - Plant and Equipment Selection for Water /Wastewater Treatment Process Developing P&IDs Participation in Design Review, Hazard Studies and Access Lifting and Maintenance Review Ensuring design output is completed in accordance with the agreed scope of works, timescales and budgets.
