MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFG’s global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia PacificSpecialist – Global Cyber Security Center of Excellence, Training & Awareness Systems Office for Asia (ASO) – IT Risk Management Department (IRMD) Position Title: Cyber Security Training & Awareness Specialist Corporate Title : Assistant Vice President Location : BengaluruRole Overview: MUFG is seeking an Assistant Vice President to support the Global Centre of Excellence for Cybersecurity Awareness and Training. This role is crucial in strengthening the Bank’s cybersecurity posture by delivering global initiatives and ensuring regional alignment. The AVP, Cyber Security Center of Excellence (Training & Awareness) will support Global PIC located in region EMEA in driving a global cyber security training and awareness program across the organization. This role is responsible for active execution and coordination of global cyber security initiatives, developing and refining content, and ensuring clear, impactful communication. It involves working closely with regional and local teams to create practical, engaging, and consistent content / materials that simplify technical concepts and scale effectively across all regions.Key Responsibilities: Serve as a global role supporting the Cyber Awareness & Training Centre of Excellence (CoE) across regions including APAC, EMEA, US, and Japan. Assist the VP to execute the global Cyber Security Training and Awareness service implementation. Coordinate delivery across multiple channels, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and outcomes are tracked and met. Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders such as HR, Learning & Development, regional cybersecurity, and technology teams. Leverage hands-on experience in creating, designing, and delivering cyber training and awareness programs, including eLearning modules, phishing simulations, newsletters, and awareness workshops. Provide subject method expertise guidance on global CoE initiatives related to cybersecurity awareness and training. Prepare and maintain CoE status updates, dashboards, and governance materials for reporting and decision-making forums. Demonstrate flexibility to take on additional tasks that strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training and awareness programs and implement improvements to enhance impact and engagement.Engagement with Stakeholders: Facilitate sessions and communications for CoE program development and operationalization. Maintain strong relationships with regional teams to ensure consistent delivery and messaging.Expectations: Team Collaboration: Work effectively as a team player with the bank’s cybersecurity professionals to achieve program objectives. Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with various regions and departments to integrate cybersecurity awareness globally. Continuous Improvement and Passion: Show a passion for continuously improving the training program's effectiveness and ensuring alignment with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.Job Requirements: Proven experience with diverse training methods and tailoring content for different audience groups. Familiarity with cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CRI). Hands-on experience in developing and conducting cybersecurity awareness and training programs. Familiar with modern learning platforms (e.g., Articulate360, Microsoft Attack Simulation, Proofpoint) and digital engagement tools. Strong understanding of emerging threats, regulations, and best practices. Ability to measure program impact using data-driven metrics and drive continuous improvement. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex concepts simply. Ability to learn quickly and perform effectively in a dynamic environment. Proven experience using Security Awareness Training (SAT) tools and platforms, such as KnowBe4, Proofpoint SAT, or equivalent.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience: 6–10 years in cybersecurity, with 3–5 years in security awareness and training.
