About NR Consulting NR Consulting is a growing IT & Global Workforce Solutions firm providing end-to-end recruitment and staffing services to clients across the USA, Canada, and India. As we scale our operations, we are looking for a seasoned Finance Manager to independently manage and strengthen our entire finance function.Role Overview The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete finance and accounting operations of NR Consulting. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong expertise in accounting, compliance, taxation, reporting, and financial planning. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner to leadership while ensuring robust financial controls and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Accounting Manage end-to-end accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and month end/yearend closing. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Maintain books of accounts in compliance with Indian accounting standards.Compliance & Taxation Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and Income Tax. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities. Manage annual audits, tax audits, and statutory filings.Payroll & Employee Finance Oversee payroll processing, salary structuring, deductions, reimbursements, and benefits. Ensure compliance with labor laws and payroll related statutory requirements.Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections. Track actuals vs budget and provide variance analysis. Develop and present MIS reports to management on revenue, margins, costs, and profitability.Cash Flow & Working Capital Management Monitor cash flows, optimize working capital, and manage banking relationships. Oversee invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and expense controls.Controls, Process Improvement & Risk Management Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and SOPs. Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Improve finance processes through automation and best practices.Strategic Support Support leadership in business planning, pricing decisions, and financial strategy. Provide financial insights to support growth initiatives, new markets, and client contracts.Qualifications & Experience CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification. 8-12+ years of relevant experience, preferably in IT services, staffing, or consulting firms. Strong Handson experience in Indian taxation, compliance, and audits. Experience managing end-to-end finance independently.Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally / Zoho / QuickBooks / SAP or similar). Advanced Excel skills; experience with MIS and financial dashboards. High attention to detail, integrity, and ownership mindset.
