We are funded by marquee investors, including Eniac Ventures, Tidal Ventures, Karman Ventures, Ahead VC & Better CapitalAbout this Role: We’re looking for a Finance Associate who can take full ownership of daily finance operations, ensure compliance, and build scalable processes for a fast-growing, VC-backed startup. You’ll work directly with the founders and external partners to maintain financial discipline, transparency, and efficiency across the organization.Core Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end financial operations, including invoicing, expense tracking, and cash flow reporting. Handle daily cash balance reporting and ensure accurate reconciliation with bank and accounting records. Oversee weekly expense tracking—vendor invoices, reimbursements, and expense categorization. Prepare and issue client invoices, follow up for timely revenue collection, and maintain an updated accounts receivable tracker. Work with Zoho Books (or equivalent) to manage bookkeeping, ledger entries, and financial statements. Coordinate with external agencies for GST, TDS, and compliance filings (including ROC, PF, ESIC, etc.). Support monthly and quarterly MIS reporting, assisting founders with financial dashboards and performance summaries. Partner with founders and CA for audit readiness, due diligence, and investor/board reporting. Implement and improve financial processes and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.Must-Haves: 1 – 2 years of hands-on experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A (startup or SME environment preferred). CA with strong accounting fundamentals. Proven experience working with Zoho Books (mandatory) and coordinating with external agencies for GST, TDS, and compliance. Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, strong analytical and reporting skills. High ownership and attention to detail—comfortable managing multiple priorities independently. Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to explain financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders. Prior exposure to VC-backed startup finance is a plus (burn tracking, runway analysis, investor reporting).
