Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Relationship Manager with proven experience managing Mutual Fund Distributors (MFD) channel partners to drive AUM growth, strengthen distributor engagement, and achieve sales targets through strategic partner management. You will be the primary point of contact for MFD partners in the Kolkata region and will play a key role in driving distribution of mutual fund products and enhancing channel productivity.Responsibilities • Build, maintain and deepen strong relationships with Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs) across Kolkata. • Act as the front-line owner of distributor engagement — driving business, managing pipeline, and ensuring achievement of monthly / quarterly sales targets. • Identify high-potential distributors, onboard them, and execute activation plans to maximize sales & AUM. • Proactively communicate product launches, scheme updates, and strategic initiatives to the MFD network. • Conduct product presentations, training sessions, and engagement meets with MFD partners to strengthen their product knowledge and selling confidence. • Collect and share market intelligence, distributor business plans, and competitive activities with internal stakeholders. • Maintain accurate CRM / MIS records on distributor interactions, pipeline status, sales forecasting, and outcomes. • Coordinate with Product, Operations, Compliance and Fund Management teams to resolve distributor queries and ensure timely partner support. • Ensure partners are equipped with regulatory, compliance and AMC collateral for effective selling.Education • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or related / MBA. Experience • 4–8 year’s experience managing Mutual Fund Distributor (MFD) channels within an AMC, • Strong track record in AUM growth, channel partner engagement, and sales planning.
