Commercial Enablement Manager Location: Pune, Solapur, NandedJoin us on the forefront of our Digital New Value initiatives in agriculture, where technology meets purpose to revolutionize the AgTech landscape. As a Commercial Enablement Manager, you will be at the heart of commercializing something from the ground up - taking bold ideas from 0 to 1.In this role, you’ll be leading the market expansion of new initiatives in the AgTech space in multiple districts in Maharashtra, operating across B2B2C and B2C models. In this role, you will drive customer acquisition by building strong relationships with Channel Partners and farmers, manage channel partnerships, and deliver impactful product and service experiences that increase farmer engagement and satisfaction. You will also be enabling commercial team on ground to grow their territory’s business in digital products.This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, results-oriented professional with a background in agriculture or AgriTech, who thrives in a venture building environment and is passionate about transforming the agricultural sector through digital innovation.What you will do:Enable commercial teams of different territories to do sales for digital product offerings by conducting on the job trainings of commercial teams. Identify, onboard, and build relationships with channel partners and farmers across different territories in collaboration with commercial teams in the region to drive adoption of our digital product and services. Support commercial teams in management of relationship with channel partners, ensuring smooth execution of product sales, service delivery, and post-sales support. Plan and execute demand generation activities with sales officers at ground zero. Develop and implement territory-level growth strategies, aligning with overall business goals, to drive customer acquisition and product usage while collaborating with cross functional teams. Conduct regular training for commercial teams, channel partners and farmers to ensure they understand the benefits of our offerings, leading to enhanced product adoption. Meet and exceed sales, customer acquisition, and market share targets, with an emphasis on achieving high customer satisfaction and retention. Provide regular updates on territory performance, customer feedback, and market conditions, working closely with cross-functional teams to continuously improve products and services. Conduct regular field visits toengagedirectly with farmers, collect insights, and ensure strong relationships between the company, traders, and end-users. Lead, motivate and mentor field team members for business growth outcomes. Ensure cash flow for the venture is healthy at all times while maintaining healthy relations with the channel. Be face of the venture on ground and own the dispute resolution in the region with support from product team.Note:This is a contractual role and can be extended or converted to Full Time Employee role in Bayer based on performance.Who you are You have 3-5 years of experience in AgriTech, Agriculture input sales, digital product sales or related sectors, with a deep understanding of the agricultural ecosystem in Maharashtra. Proven track record of achieving sales targets, managing channel partnerships, and working directly with farmers and channel partners in a B2B2C or B2C setup. Possess excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building long-lasting relationships with traders, farmers, and internal teams. A go-getter with the ability to work independently, manage territory operations, and drive sales growth. You thrive in a dynamic startup environment, are quick to adapt, and can balance multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in using digital tools, mobile apps, and MS Office is essential for this role. Fluency in Marathi and English, with knowledge of local dialects is a strong advantage. A degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Rural Development, or related fields is preferred. (MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.) Experience of leading and managing a team successfully. Ready to travel to various locations in a given territory. Comfortable in challenging ideas and engage in thoughtful discussions with leadership, contributing to a culture of mutual respect, innovation, and continuous improvement with a solutionist mindset.
