Team Lead – Business Development (Engineering & Life Sciences Staffing) Location:HyderabadRole Overview The Team Lead – Business Development will be responsible for driving new client acquisition, expanding existing accounts, and leading a team of Business Development Executives. This role requires a strong hunter mindset combined with leadership capabilities to scale revenue and build a high-performing sales team.Key Responsibilities Business DevelopmentIdentify and acquire new clients in Engineering, Medical Device, Pharma, and Biotech sectors. Generate contract (W2, C2C, 1099) and full-time staffing requirements. Conduct client meetings, capability presentations, and commercial negotiations. Drive revenue growth through strategic account development. Support bench marketing efforts to reduce consultant idle time. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Executives. Set individual and team revenue targets. Monitor daily activity metrics (calls, meetings, pipeline). Conduct regular sales reviews and performance evaluations. Provide coaching on prospecting, objection handling, and closing strategies.Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in US staffing sales (Engineering / Life Sciences preferred). Minimum 1–2 years of experience leading or mentoring a sales team. Proven track record in new client acquisition and revenue generation. Strong knowledge of US staffing models (W2, C2C, 1099). Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, Bullhorn, etc.). Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
