This role exists to: Bringfinancial discipline across all MAVIP SBUs Enabledata-backed decision making Protect margins and cash flow Support strategic growth, acquisitions, and platform investments The Finance Manager will act as thecommercial conscience of the organization .Why This Role Is Important MAVIP operates multiple SBUs: The Catalyst– Media & PR Veritm– Market Research Frontlyn– Demand Generation Thrrum– Digital & Creative Riveoo– Events & Exhibitions Underlay– Technology Services Platforms & SaaS initiativesEach SBU has different cost structures, different revenue cycles, different margin profilesThis role ensures: Profitability visibility atSBU-level Healthy cash flow across projects Financial clarity for leadership decisionsKey Responsibilities 1. Financial Control & Governance Maintain accurate books and financial records Ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, ROC, etc.) Coordinate with CA and auditors Manage taxation and regulatory filings2. SBU-Level Financial Visibility Create monthlySBU-wise P&L statements Track revenue, gross margins, contribution margins Analyze cost structures and flag inefficiencies Identify margin leakage in projects3. Commercial Oversight of Projects Review client proposals for pricing logic and margin protection Track project profitability Ensure billing discipline and timely invoicing Monitor receivables and collections4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management Maintain rolling cash flow forecasts Monitor payables and receivables Ensure liquidity discipline across SBUs5. Strategic & Growth Support Support budgeting and annual planning Assist in acquisition due diligence (if required) Support platform investment modeling Build financial dashboards for CEORequired Experience & Profile Mandatory 6–10 years in finance roles Strong understanding of P&L, cash flow, balance sheets Experience inagency / services / project-based business environments High proficiency in Excel and financial modeling Preferred CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) Experience working in multi-division companies Exposure to budgeting and management reportingWhat Will NOT Work Pure compliance-only accountants Candidates uncomfortable interacting with leadership Finance professionals without commercial understandingSuccess in This Role Looks Like Every SBU has clear profitability visibility Cash flow surprises are eliminated CEO receives structured, reliable financial dashboards Pricing decisions are commercially sound Collections discipline improves significantly
