You will work on complex, real-world workflows spanning mobile apps, web portals, dashboards, and operational tools such as the Service App, Partner App, Swap EASI (ESV), Rider App, Partner Portal, Vehicle Dashboards, Command Center, and ticketing systems.The ideal candidate is someone who can simplify complexity, design for field-first and low-connectivity environments, and significantly improve adoption, usability, and engagement across the Indofast ecosystem. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, customer experience, and ultimately cumulative energy sold per day (kWh).Key Responsibilities • You will own and improve end-to-end user journeys across multiple products and platforms, ensuring consistency and ease of use across mobile apps, web portals, and internal dashboards. •You will redesign and optimize workflows across: ✓ Service App and Smart Diagnostics (operator and technician journeys), ✓ Swap EASI app (ESV and transporter journeys), ✓ Rider App (QR-based swapping, wallet, network discovery), ✓ Partner App and Partner Portal, ✓ Vehicle dashboards, Command Center, and operational dashboards. • You will identify UX gaps, friction points, and usability issues in existing products and propose intuitive, scalable design solutions aligned with real-world usage. • You will design field-first experiences, accounting for constraints such as low digital literacy, time pressure, outdoor usage, poor connectivity, and hardware integrations (QR, Bluetooth, scanning). • You will create and maintain a design system to ensure consistency in UI components, interaction patterns, typography, color usage, and accessibility across all products. • You will redesign dashboards to be actionable and engaging, introducing visual cues, prioritization, and gamification elements where relevant (e.g., operator performance, SLA adherence, ESV efficiency). • You will collaborate closely with Product Managers to translate complex operational workflows into simple, user-centric journeys and influence scope by highlighting UX risks early. • You will work with engineering teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented with high fidelity, including support for offline flows and fallback mechanisms. • You will conduct regular user research and usability testing, including field visits to stations, partner hubs, stores, and operations teams, and incorporate insights into design iterations.What We’re Looking For • 1-2 years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or interaction design, preferably on complex systems. • Strong experience designing end-to-end journeys across mobile and web products, not just isolated screens. • Prior experience working on field-heavy, ops-tech, logistics, mobility, fintech, or enterprise platforms is strongly preferred. • Proven ability to design for low-connectivity environments and hardware-integrated workflows (QR scanning, Bluetooth, devices). • Strong skills in user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design. • Familiarity with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, FigJam, Miro, Confluence, etc. • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Operations, CX, and Business teams. • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and empathy for real users. • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and evolving requirements. • Willingness to spend time in the field to observe and understand real usage.
