The role involves managing and maintaining servers, networks, and end-user systems to ensure optimal availability, security, and performance of all IT assets. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, enabling them to collaborate effectively across teams and address IT needs efficientlyKey Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and IT infrastructure (Windows/Linux). Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of hardware and software systems. Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, wireless access points & CCTV cameras. Provide technical support for internal users - troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Maintain IT asset inventory and manage procurement of hardware/software. Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery operations. Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place and kept up-to-date (antivirus, patch management, firewalls). Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access control systems (Active Directory, Email, etc.). Coordinate with HR to ensure the timely setup of accounts, hardware, and system access for new employees, and secure retrieval of assets and deactivation of accounts for departing employees. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT equipment and services. Document internal procedures, configurations, and IT policies. Support and implement IT projects (upgrades, migrations, new system deployments). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs and resolve technical challenges.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience (1-3 years) as a System Administrator, IT Executive, or similar role. Strong knowledge of Windows Server and networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, etc.). Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and related tools. Familiarity with hosting control panels such as cPanel (added advantage) Knowledge of backup solutions and IT security best practices. Hands-on experience with desktop/laptop troubleshooting, printers, and basic hardware repair. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work on rotational shifts and adapt to evolving technologies Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft Certified, CCNA) are a plus.Benefits Health insurance and other benefits.
