We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Development Lead to join our enterprise applications team and help drive high-quality SAP solutions that support our global business operations.The SAP ABAP Development Lead will be responsible for leading a team of ABAP developers while driving the design, development, optimization, and delivery of SAP solutions across key business domains including Sales & Distribution (SD), Logistics, and Finance. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ABAP developers, ensuring technical excellence and timely project delivery. Design, develop, review, and optimize ABAP solutions across SAP SD, Logistics, and Finance modules. Collaborate closely with functional consultants and global business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Oversee the full development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support. Ensure adherence to SAP standards, development best practices, and governance frameworks. Drive innovation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP development team. Perform complex debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of existing SAP applications. Act as the primary escalation point for critical technical and delivery-related issues. Support architectural decisions and contribute to long-term SAP roadmap planning.Required Qualifications & Experience:10–15 years of IT experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP development. Proven experience working across SAP SD, Logistics, and Finance modules. Strong understanding of core SAP business processes, including: Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procurement and Finance processes Demonstrated experience leading and managing development teams in a global delivery environment. Deep expertise in debugging, performance tuning, and complex ABAP enhancements. Experience with SAP development best practices, transport management, and quality standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-cultural and global teams. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Preferred Skills Experience working in large enterprise or multinational environments. Exposure to automation initiatives and development process improvements. Experience supporting business transformation or SAP enhancement projects.
