Hiring for Gemologist/Grader – SuratLocation: A.K. Road, Surat, Gujarat. Experience: 2+ Years Qualification: Minimum HSC (Any Lab Experience Or Certificate required) Salary - upto 7.80 LPAPosition Summary: We are looking for an experienced Gemologist / Diamond Grader with strong technical expertise in polished diamond grading. The candidate should have thorough knowledge of the 4Cs and the ability to independently evaluate clarity, polish, symmetry, and inclusions while maintaining laboratory grading standards.Key Responsibilities: Diamond inclusion plotting experience. * Accurately assess polished diamonds according to international grading standards, including evaluation of the 4Cs (Carat Weight, Cut, Color, and Clarity). * Finalize clarity, polish, and symmetry independently with high accuracy. * Perform diamond inclusion plotting as per laboratory requirements. * Utilize advanced diamond grading instruments, software, and equipment. * Ensure strict adherence to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and industry guidelines. * Participate in quality control processes to maintain grading consistency and precision. * Coordinate with the quality assurance team to resolve discrepancies or grading issues. * Stay updated with latest industry trends, technologies, and grading techniques. * Collaborate with fellow gemologists and graders to maintain uniform grading standards across the lab.Experience Requirements: * Minimum 2+ years of experience as a diamond grader in a renowned laboratory OR 5+ years of experience as a diamond grader in a reputed diamond manufacturing company. * GIA laboratory experience will be considered an added advantage.Educational Qualifications * Minimum HSC (12th Pass) * Diamond Grading Course from a recognized / renowned laboratory * Basic computer knowledgeSkills & Competencies: * Strong understanding of diamond grading standard * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work independently and under quality benchmarks * Good analytical and observational skills * Team-oriented with effective communication abilitiesRetention Policy 10% salary will be deducted every month and you will get the deducted salary after 2 years with 5% of interest.
