This includes ensuring that the team delivers as per set expectations while maintaining the required quality standards. The role involves day to day coordination with internal as well external teams. The Team leader is also required to analyze data and identify trends for performance & quality improvementsPrincipal Duties/ Responsibilities: Effectively lead a team of production associates on Healthcare projects. Meets daily/monthly production and quality targets. Maintains an exemplary level of accuracy in all work. Handles external complaints: Analyzing the situation and creating a corrective course of action. Communicates effectively and timely with upstream functional areas to resolve issues. Liaison between support function and Operations to ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day activities. Responsible for data management in terms of dashboards and sending reports to clients. Program Management Overall program performance (productivity and quality) Implementation support SLA delivery Internal reports sign off Create and maintain internal report trackers Client Management Attending internal & external check-in calls regularly Effective internal & client communication Timely, complete and accurate response to e-mails People Management Optimum staff utilization Identify team members with gaps (either productivity or quality) and discuss the next course of action with the supervisor Effectively delegate, monitor & mentor support staff (supervisors & QAs) Team building Process Improvement & Initiatives Process enhancements (measurable) Data analytics Leave Planning & Attrition Ensure availability of production resources based on requirements Have low attrition levels and attempt retentionOther related responsibilities: Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others. Exhibits behaviors consistent with Cotiviti Values: Customer Driven Collaborative Accountable OpenEducational requirement: Education: India: Medical degree (MBBS or BAMS or BHMS or B.P.Th) with preferred CPC certification OR Bachelor’s degree in any stream (preferably Life Science) with preferred CPC certificationJob Requirement : Ability to work seated at a computer for long periods of time. Candidate should be ready to work in night shift and/or rotational shifts Should be able to meet internal and client’s SLA. Experience requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in medical coding/ US Healthcare operations and minimum 2 years of experience as a Team Leader/ Team Coach. Experience in US Healthcare, medical coding, medical billing, RCM health plan operations strongly preferred. Possesses knowledge of healthcare claims payment policy and processing – specifically CMS, Medicaid regulations, AAOS, ICD-9, CPT & HCPCS, etc. Practical clinical experience working in a hospital/office or nursing home strongly preferred. Has general knowledge of medical procedures, conditions, illnesses and treatment practices Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
