As theHead – Innovations & Start Up Ecosystem , you willspearhead the creation of a vibrant innovation and startup ecosystem , nurturing the next generation of creators, inventors, and changemakers.Your mission: to transform breakthrough ideas into viable products, ventures, and social impact initiatives across disciplines.Key Responsibilities:-Lead theInnovation & Entrepreneurship Cell (IIC/Start-up cell)aligned withMoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC)andAtal Innovation Mission (AIM) . Design and drivestartup incubation and accelerator programsin emerging domains such asAI, HealthTech, AgriTech, FinTech, and Sustainability. Facilitateresearch commercialization, patenting, and spin-off creationin collaboration with industry partners. Buildcross-disciplinary innovation labsandstartup hubsthat empower students and faculty to prototype, test, and scale their ideas. Forgestrategic partnershipswithgovernment agencies, venture networks, investors, and corporates . CurateBrainware Innovation Summits and Startup Showcasesto highlight entrepreneurial talent and attract external collaboration.️What You’ll Build:-Innovation Labs & Startup Hubsacross multidisciplinary verticals. Avibrant incubation pipelinefrom idea-to-market for student and faculty founders. AnIPR & Research Commercialisation Cellpromoting patents and technology transfer. Strong linkages withfunding agencies, accelerators, and innovation networks. AUniversity-wide entrepreneurial culturethat aligns with NEP-2020’s innovation agenda.Qualifications and Skills:-Master’s degree or Ph.D.inEngineering, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Studies, Management, or related domains. Minimum10–15 years of experience , including5–7 years in leadership roleswithin innovation management, incubation, or startup ecosystems. Proven track record ofsecuring grants/funding ,mentoring startups , orleading innovation programs. Strongindustry, startup, and investor networkwith excellent communication and mentoring skills. Deep understanding ofNEP-2020, national innovation frameworks, and MoE/AIM policies.
