The role involves leading all safety-related activities at the project site, ensuring strict compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and project-specific safety standards.Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitorHealth, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and proceduresat the project site. Ensure compliance withstatutory safety regulations , local laws, and metro/railway safety standards. Conduct regularsafety audits, inspections, and risk assessmentsat site. Identify potential hazards and recommendpreventive and corrective measures . Organize and conductsafety trainings, tool-box talks, and induction programsfor employees and contractors. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and client representatives on safety matters. Ensure proper usage ofPPEs , safety signage, and emergency preparedness systems. Maintain safety documentation, registers, and statutory records. Promote a strongsafety cultureacross all levels of the project team.Desired Candidate Profile Degree / Diploma in Engineering withSafety Certification(ADIS / PDIS / NEBOSH or equivalent). More than 10 years of experiencein safety management, preferably inMetro / Railway / Infrastructure Projects . Strong knowledge ofHSE laws, construction safety norms, and metro project safety standards . Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to independently manage site safety operations.
