Prepare completedesign packages,including drawings, calculations, BOM, and specifications Ensure compliance withAPI standards and customer technical requirements Perform engineering calculations (load, stress, tolerance, material selection) Conduct risk assessment during the design stage and implement mitigation measures Coordinate with Production and QA for manufacturability and compliance Support root cause analysis for product failures and suggest design improvements Maintain proper document control and revision management Assist during customer and API audits related to design documentation RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 5–10 years of experience in heavy engineering or oil & gas equipment design Strong knowledge ofAPI standards (preferably API 7K) Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Creo or equivalent) Understanding of materials, heat treatment, and manufacturing processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
