The Group operates in a highly regulated environment and is committed to building a scalable, globally compliant, and ethically governed organization.Role Overview Senior Compliance Officer will lead and institutionalize theend-to-end compliance, governance, and regulatory frameworkacross DLGD and all its subsidiaries. This role will ensure adherence to statutory, labour, environmental, HR, and administrative regulations while fostering a culture of proactive compliance, audit readiness, and ethical operations aligned with global standards.Key Responsibilities Regulatory & Statutory Compliance · Develop and implement a Group-wide compliance framework covering all entities and locations. · Ensure adherence to applicable laws including Factory Act, Labour Laws, Environmental Regulations, Shops & Establishment norms, and local statutory requirements. · Maintain centralized compliance trackers, licenses, filings, and renewals. Factory & Operational Compliance · Oversee compliance across manufacturing units including worker welfare, safety, inspections, contractor labour compliance, and environmental standards. · Ensure continuous readiness for regulatory and customer-driven audits. HR & Labour Law Compliance · Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Wages, CLRA, POSH, and employment regulations. · Partner with HR to implement legally compliant policies and governance practices. Administrative & Vendor Compliance · Monitor statutory compliance related to facilities, infrastructure, and third-party vendors across locations. Governance, Audit & Risk Management · Establish SOPs, internal compliance reviews, and risk-control mechanisms. · Lead internal and external audits, track corrective actions, and report compliance status to the CFO. · Drive digitization and standardization of compliance documentation and monitoring. Regulatory Liaison & Culture Building · Act as the primary interface with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and inspectors. · Conduct training and awareness programs to embed a compliance-first culture across the organization.Qualifications & Experience Graduate in Law / Compliance / Business Administration (LLB preferred) with12–18 years of experiencein manufacturing-led, export-oriented, or multi-location organizations. Strong expertise in Indian labour laws, Factory Act compliance, and statutory governance frameworks. Proven experience managing global and customer-driven compliance standards such as: SMETA / Sedex Audits RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) IFC / ESG / Responsible Business compliance frameworks EHS and regulatory audits ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001) exposure Experience handling compliance for export customers, third-party audit agencies, and certification bodies. Demonstrated ability to build compliance systems, audit readiness processes, and corrective-action frameworks in scaling organizations. Strong stakeholder management with experience liaising with government authorities and external regulators.Key Skills Strong governance and risk-management orientation. Ability to design structured compliance systems from the ground up. High integrity, attention to detail, and documentation discipline. Practical, hands-on leader capable of operating at both strategic and execution levels. Effective cross-functional collaboration with HR, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams.
