Interested candidates, kindly mail toenpcareers.hr@Main Purpose The Commercial and Partnership Manager (E&P) will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and managing upstream oil & gas partnerships and commercial agreements. The role focuses on building and maintaining a strong partner landscape, leading negotiations, and driving consortium formation to optimize value creation. By interpreting fiscal and regulatory frameworks, developing commercial structures, and ensuring effective stakeholder management, the incumbent will enable faster deal cycles, improved outcomes, and sustainable alliances that enhance project execution efficiency, cost competitiveness, and technology adoption.Job Accountabilities Remain updated with the development in E&P sector across the world. Should be well aware of hot spots and should create new relationships. Source and evaluate upstream partnership and deal opportunities. Build and maintain a strong stakeholders landscape and relationship pipeline. Lead partner evaluation across capability, capital strength, operatorship fit, and compliance risk. Drive consortium formation and convert MoUs into executable commercial agreements. Identify alliances that improve speed, cost efficiency, and technology adoption in subsurface and execution. Lead and work along with multidisciplinary team for completing due diligence. Develop term sheets and commercial structures (carry, earn‑in, contingent payments). Own negotiation redlines for commercial clauses in JOA, JVA, and SPA in coordination with Legal. Interpret fiscal and regulatory frameworks commercially to optimize risk allocation and value. Create playbooks and standard positions to reduce cycle time and improve negotiation outcomes. Support dispute avoidance mechanisms including voting rights, operatorship, cash calls, exit clauses, and deadlocks. Manage stakeholder relationships post‑deal to ensure continuity and strategic alignment. Handle post-acquisition problems and sort the same.Skills Required Strong deal sourcing and opportunity identification skills. Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building capability. Commercial judgment and practical deal sense. Deep knowledge of upstream business, commercial contracts and fiscal clauses. Expertise in negotiation craft and risk management. Awareness of compliance and regulatory frameworks. Drafting sensibility and ability to develop playbooks/standard positions. Ability to balance strategic vision with operational executionQualification & Experience Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering (preferred specialization in Oil & Gas or Energy). 10–15 years of experience in upstream business, commercial/contracts. Proven track record in high‑stakes negotiations and partnership/business development. Strong industry network and credibility with partners. Experience in consortium formation, joint ventures, and commercial structuring in oil & gas.
