Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilledSenior Azure Data Engineerwith strong experience in integratingSAP systemswithAzure cloud data platforms . The ideal candidate should be proficient inAzure Data Factory (ADF) ,Azure Databricks , andAzure Logic Apps , and have a deep understanding of building and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure data integration solutions in a cloud environment. Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintaindata integration and transformation solutionsbetweenSAP systems(ECC, S/4HANA, or BW) andAzure services . Build and manageETL/ELT pipelinesusingAzure Data Factoryfor data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration. Develop and optimizedata processing workflowsusingAzure Databricks (PySpark/Spark SQL) . Implementevent-driven integrations and workflow automationsusingAzure Logic AppsandAzure Functions . Collaborate with SAP teams to extract and integrate data usingODATA, BAPI, RFC, or IDocinterfaces. Support thedesign of data architectures , including data lakes and data warehouses onAzure . Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance withenterprise data governanceandsecurity policies . Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues in data pipelines and integrations. Preparetechnical documentation , solution designs, and operational guidelines. Required Skills & Qualifications7-10 years of overall experience indata engineeringordata integration , with at least3+ years in Azure data services . Strong hands-on experience withAzure Data Factory ,Azure Databricks , andAzure Logic Apps . Proven experience inintegrating Azure with SAP systems(ECC/S4HANA/BW). Proficiency inPython ,SQL , anddata transformation frameworks . Good understanding ofdata lake ,data warehouse , anddata modelingprinciples. Familiarity withAzure Synapse Analytics ,Power BI , andAzure DevOps CI/CD pipelines . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Good to HaveKnowledge ofSAP integration technologies(ODATA, IDocs, BAPI, RFC). Experience withevent-driven architecturesandAPI-based integrations . Understanding ofdata security, access control, and compliance standardsin Azure. Experience working inAgile/Scrumenvironments.
