The successful candidate will provide board-level financial insight while ensuring robust financial controls and operational excellence.Day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliations are managed by bookkeepers in each company. The Finance Director will provide oversight, leadership, and strategic financial direction.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic financial leadership to both organisations Partner with the Chairman and Managing Directors to support commercial growth and financial strategy Oversee and line manage one bookkeeper in each business Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Review monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs Maintain oversight of cash flow management and liquidity planning Ensure accurate stock accounting within the P&L (where applicable) Oversee financial controls, reconciliations, and compliance processes Review and approve payroll, statutory deductions, and related submissions Manage month-end close processes and review working papers Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee accruals, prepayments, and provisions Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements Support commercial negotiations and financial modelling where required Act as a key financial advisor at board level Liaise with external providers including legal cashier service providers and banking partners Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requiredRequired QualificationsUK Chartered Accountant (CA – UK) Minimum 3–4 years' experience at Head of Finance or Director level Proven experience within services-based businesses and environments with stock reflected in P&L Experience within small to mid-sized organisations (5–25 million turnover) Strong working knowledge ofXero Demonstrated ability to take ownership and operate independently from day one High level of financial accuracy and analytical capability Strong written and verbal English communication skills (minimum 4.5/5 proficiency) Confident presenting financial information to board-level stakeholdersPreferred SkillsExperience supporting multiple entities or group structures Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills Experience in operationally focused, growth-stage businesses Strong leadership and people management capability Ability to manage sensitive financial and people matters with professionalism and discretionWork ScheduleMonday to Friday Standard business hours: 13:30 PM to 22:30 PMWhat We OfferYearly Compensation : INR 30 Lakhs - INR 33 Lakhs Senior leadership and board-level influence Opportunity to shape financial strategy across two growing organisations Flexible, part-time working arrangement Direct collaboration with Chairman and Managing Directors A values-led culture built on trust, respect, and accountability Real impact across two ambitious and expanding businesses
